Ok, if you love Sidda Lee Rain you will love this too! Yes, it's short but it's complete. You aren't left hanging but you are left wanting more...more...more!!! I am impressed with the strength that Ava shows. She took a difficult blow from her jerk husband and usually when you start out a story like this you get wailing and whining and why me's but not here. Yeah, she has her down time but then she's up and running and ready to tackle the world. Her independence and backbone are what just blew me away about this character and it doesn't hurt to have a hot, hunky guy to fall in to for a little while. She's such an awesome woman, not running to another man, not wallowing, she just takes the hits as they come and and makes the best out of them. If there are going to be more books about these characters I will be the first in line to get them! I can't wait to read more of these stories if they are going to have characters like this!Product details

This story is short and sexy but also sweet. Bryce makes Ava feel alive, wanted and super sexy...every girl's dream. Having been in Ava's shoes, I could identify with this book. It's for any woman who needs to feel wanted and sexy and get back into the saddle, so to speak. I was intrigued by the ending but won't leave any spoilers. I'm new to Sidda but will be coming back for seconds and thirds.
Never before have I read a "short story" My thought was how the heck can you get anything outta that??. Thought I would get this one because I loved Sidda's other book series........So I ended up being super excited and satisfied with what I read!!..... Sidda's cowboys and ranchers I am after and love for sure...... they are my main reading choice I look for.....So sexy cowboys.... check I am there......Also gave the game time series sexy sports hunks a try......loved that too sooo... check.....and super sexy man in a suit who is sipping on wine and talking and thinking and doing oh so dirty ??? Ah yeah i am there as well now....CHECK!....... Whats next!!?? ......This short story showed Sidda's versatility and growth as a writer. Different genre from the rest of her previous books but yet different distinguished wording and style.(I swear in every book I read of Sidda's I come across some terms that I have never seen described that way or how LOL...I love it)...Story has no repetitive sexy hot scenes duplicated like I see in other books by authors with series........Also this story also has a different class and characters all their own but yet the story and characters continue to be relatable and are not far fetched...So scored points for me!...... From the first 2 chapters you get a whole picture of main character, feel her emotions and wants and basically what she and every woman deserves.....38 pages has it all here....laughing...burning hot.....emotions and empowerment!......Story quickens up fast but just at the right speed and does not disappoint. Great quick escape read! Well done!
I gave it five because I love the premise. I love the realization the main character has, and what she does with it. I also loved the ending.
This book really keeped me reading till late at night. I had to read it all. Could not stop. Not surprising considering the author. Love her.
This is an enjoyable tale of a discarded wife who decides she may be out but doesn't have to stay down. The ending left a smile on my face because I could simply imagine the possibilities for her future. I could also picture her soon-to-be former spouse's expression upon realizing the woman he cheated on and discarded wasn't the doormat he thought she'd be and that someone unexpected had shifted the rules of the game in her favor.
I gotta admit I'm normally not a fan of short stories (cuz I hate being left feeling like I didnt get enough out of it) and I prefer my dirty rough and tough bad boys but as a fan of Sidda's other books I gave it a try and I am SOOOOOOO GLAD I DID! Sign me up for expensive cars, lawyers in suits, and wine STAT! The story is about a recently separated woman who's husband decides to tell her that not only does he want a divorce immediately but that he has also been having an affair. I love that even though she is completely heart broken and mourns the lost of her marriage she doesn't let it destroy her. She takes the time to cry then stands up for herself and refuses to let him win. And Bryce oh good lordy I'll let you find out for yourself but I love him! You wont be disappointed with this short story by Sidda
One of the best short stories I have read in awhile. Sometimes all you have time for is short and sweet and Sidda Lee Rain delivered on that one. Ava finds out her creep of a husband has been cheating after she has done all she can do to be the perfect wife to a top lawyer but then gets slapped in the face. So finally after she has her pity party, she puts on her big girl panties and starts digging up all the dirt on her scumbag husband. Ava then gets herself looking to the 9's and heads out to meet her BFF for drinks only to be cancelled on. Well no worries Bryce the sexy lawyer is drawn to Ava for unknown reasons and he cannot wait to take her to bed for some steamy hot sex, but to also make her his. Never expected the ending, and won't divulge it here but like they say what goes around comes around, KARMA is a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!
